Best Review Management Software for Roofers
The best review software for roofing companies should connect a real customer event to a neutral review request, follow up without spamming repeat customers, and make it easy to monitor and respond after the review arrives. We compared the three launch-stage platforms on the criteria that matter most for roofers using CRM/project systems such as Roofr or JobNimbus.

Prices are vendor-posted signals checked August 9, 2026 and can change. Review Dingo does not expose a directly comparable self-serve plan price in the public materials we verified, so we score transparency separately.
Why the workflow matters for roofing companies
Roofing has longer project cycles than most home services, so the trigger matters. A request after an inspection may be premature for a replacement project; a completed repair, final walkthrough or paid invoice is usually a cleaner event to automate.
Integration evidence for this industry
A marketing page saying “integrates with thousands of apps” is not enough. We give more credit when the vendor documents the exact field-service, CRM, payment or scheduling system and the trigger path.
| Tool | What we could verify | Confidence |
|---|---|---|
| TrueReview | Current integration library specifically lists Roofr and JobNimbus through Zapier, in addition to Jobber, ServiceTitan and other field-service tools. | Strong |
| NiceJob | Strong home-service ecosystem with Jobber, Housecall Pro, QuickBooks and other connections; verify your roofing CRM if it is outside that set. | Good |
| Review Dingo | Vendor promotes broad CRM integration and done-for-you setup; confirm the exact roofing CRM trigger and data fields in the demo. | Verify |

Choose NiceJob if…
- Your business already runs on home-service tools and you want the simplest documented connection path.
- You want reviews to feed website social proof, referrals or repeat-business workflows.
- $75–$125/month is reasonable for the post-job growth layer.

- You want to start lean and expand into SMS, multi-location and AI features later.
Choose Review Dingo if…
- You prefer done-for-you setup and a dedicated account contact.
- You want reviews alongside listings, social, messaging or other reputation tools.
- You are willing to get a quote instead of comparing a fully public self-serve price table.
What a good 14-day trial should prove
- Trigger accuracy: connect a completed roof inspection, repair milestone or paid project and confirm only eligible completed-customer events create requests.
- Message control: build neutral SMS/email copy with no reward, rating pressure or “only happy customers” condition.
- Frequency control: test duplicate suppression and resend limits, especially for repeat customers.
- Destination control: verify the correct Google Business Profile/location and any secondary review sites.
- Reporting: confirm the owner can see requests, clicks, responses and location performance without manual spreadsheets.
- Exception handling: document what happens when a job is reopened, refunded, disputed or completed without valid consent/contact data.

Google policy is part of the buying decision
Google’s Maps user-generated-content policy prohibits incentives for reviews, pressure, discouraging negative reviews, and selectively soliciting positive reviews. Google’s Business Profile help also says reviews should reflect genuine experiences. That means the software should help you ask eligible customers neutrally; it should not be used to manufacture a five-star-only sample.
Cost check before you subscribe
For a roofing company, the cheapest plan is not automatically the cheapest workflow. Include middleware, extra locations, SMS/request limits, staff time and any overlap with features already inside your field-service platform. If your CRM already sends adequate neutral review requests, the incremental value of a standalone product needs to come from better follow-up, monitoring, widgets, reporting, referrals or other post-job automation.
Our current first product to test: TrueReview
Start with one location and one real completion trigger. Do not migrate every workflow until the vendor proves the request timing, duplicate controls and reporting work with your actual customer data.

What should roofing contractors require from review software?
Roofing companies should test whether a review request can wait until a documented final walkthrough or job closeout, rather than firing when the estimate is approved or work is merely scheduled. Check photo-and-project records, neutral invitations to every eligible customer, opt-outs, reminders and who handles a customer response.
Review-management tools address that follow-up layer; quoting and job costing need a separate operations evaluation. Compare QuoteIQ with Jobber using the head-to-head guide, and check QuoteIQ pricing. Treat vendor feature and integration statements as items to verify on a current plan, not guaranteed product behavior.
Roofing buyer checklist
Send the invitation after the roof project is actually complete
Roofing jobs move through estimate approval, installation, inspection, walkthrough and payment. A review request triggered too early can create customer frustration. During a trial, set a documented closeout milestone and verify that reminders stop after an opt-out or response.
Closeout
Keep the trigger tied to final handover, not quote approval.
Ownership
Make office responsibility and customer-problem follow-up visible.
Operations
Review tools differ from estimates, change orders and job costing.
If the main bottleneck is quoting or job workflow rather than reputation, compare QuoteIQ vs Jobber and Housecall Pro. For request automation rules, see the neutral Google review workflow.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best review software for roofing companies?
Our current desk-research pick is TrueReview, but the right answer depends heavily on your existing CRM, message volume and whether you want review collection only or broader post-job marketing. The top three are close enough that a real integration test is more useful than choosing on feature count alone.
Can roofing companies automate Google review requests?
Yes. The safest pattern is to trigger a neutral request after a genuine completed service event and let the customer decide whether and how to review. Avoid rewards, rating pressure and selective positive-review solicitation.
Do I need separate software if my CRM already asks for reviews?
Not necessarily. Keep the CRM workflow if it already provides reliable triggers, neutral messaging, resend controls and adequate reporting. Add specialized software only when the incremental review, monitoring, proof or growth features justify the extra cost and complexity.

Roofing review management software: what to compare
Look for reliable post-job review requests, Google review monitoring, customer follow-up controls, team visibility and integrations that keep the roofing CRM or field-service platform as the system of record. Continue with review management software for contractors for the category-wide framework.
Choosing roofing review management software
A roofing job may span estimates, approvals, weather delays and a final walkthrough. Evaluate whether review requests wait until the customer has genuinely received the finished work, whether the same neutral request rules apply to all eligible customers regardless of sentiment, and whether the platform handles opt-outs and duplicate contacts.
For quoting, scheduling and job costing beyond review management, compare QuoteIQ, Jobber and Housecall Pro. Start with QuoteIQ vs Jobber or Jobber vs Housecall Pro to understand operating-system tradeoffs, then independently verify each vendor’s current review-request capabilities.
